ROOMS at the castle.
Christened the OFFICER’S Room as this room and bathroom were commandeered by the German occupier during the war to house one of their army officers.
Charming, comfortable bedroom with terrace looking out on the coach house, on one side, and out on the north-easterly garden, on the other side.
The en suite bathroom has its own bathtub and other sanitary facilities.
No television.
This truly cosy room with view over the north-easterly garden was called after the maid who spent her life at the castle, arduously slaving … though by all accounts she seemed to have ruled the roost in many ways.
This room is only let in combination with the OFFICER’S Room as it does not have its own en suite.

This luxurious, comfortably-appointed, rustic room gives you a splendid vista of Averbode abbey.
It has its own en suite bathroom with shower and sanitary facilities.

This smaller yet pleasant room is called after maid Sofie's daughter-in-law. The Marguerite Room has its own separate sitting area and en suite bathroom and looks out on the pond and the 'Demerbroeken' nature reserve.

The apartment has a bedroom, sitting area, dining area, kitchen, bathroom and entrance hall.
The bedroom looks out on the pond and the Demerbroeken nature reserve.
This is a self-catering apartment, so guests see to their own culinary requirements but basic ingredients such as pepper, salt, mustard etc. are provided.
